Polar Aviation’s Russia expertise garners recognition
Helsinki provides Polar Aviation a strategically sound location. Finland is a member of the European Union with a close proximity to Russia. But location only does not make Polar Aviation the state-of-the-art aircraft maintenance service it is. The logistical and maintenance support they can provide for the business aviation customers operating in Russia is the most efficient and reliable in the business.
Wim Melyn, Airworthiness Manager at Abelag Aviation (Luxaviation Belgium) relies on this capability: “Polar Aviation is very important to us. We use their logistical knowledge and their manpower to solve AOG situations in Russia. This helps us avoid any impact on the flight schedules”.
“We have a unique and proven concept to support AOG cases especially in Russia. We can dispatch our go team with spare parts to wherever the help is needed. We also operate a line maintenance station in Moscow and base maintenance station in St. Petersburg”, explains Hanna Hakamo, CEO of Polar Aviation.
Polar Aviation is an authorized Honeywell avionics dealer and a Honeywell APU and Engine Line Maintenance facility, but also an Authorized Dassault Service Center. This is certainly seen as a benefit by Wim Melyn, from Abelag Aviation: “The support we receive from Polar Aviation exceeds the expectations we have as an approved service center for both Honeywell and Dassault. They provide tailor-made solutions in unscheduled situations and out-of-the-box thinking when required.”
